My Story
I transferred to Florida International University in Fall 2016. My name is Stacey Alpert and I have recently graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Biology from FIU. Although originally hesitant to transfer, once I stepped foot on the Modesto A. Maidique Campus I fell in love with the community and diversity that encompasses the institution. I Instantly got involved and found my place in a little bit of everything due to the amazing and countless opportunities available.
I have an older brother, one niece and three nephews, who I'm very close too. I enjoy connecting with people, organizing, planning, programming, and executing events. I have a passion for innovation, social action, and helping others. I love working with animals and have grown an appreciation for how policy can be extremely influential and life-changing for those that may be affected.
The people I have met, the friends I have made, and for all of those that believed in me along this journey, it wouldn't have been the same without them. From the good - I can improve and make it great; From the bad - I walk away with a lesson to be learned and everything in between are the memories that I will keep for a lifetime!
